KENSINGTON JUNKYARD FIRE
Around 8:30 on June 10 2018 a fire started at an auto salvage junkyard in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, due to the massive amount of crushed cars, used up old tires and hazardous chemicals, the fire quickly spread and became a four alarm fire involving fire departments from all over the city. The fire continued through the night and was brought under control the following day.
